Support Two Transformative Projects for Our Temple!
Dear Devotees,
We are excited to announce two important projects that will enhance both the spiritual and communal experiences at our temple. These initiatives reflect our commitment to honoring our traditions while creating spaces that meet the needs of our growing temple community.
Repurposing the Temple Arch: The temple’s iconic arch, recently removed from atop the temple, will be given new life through a dedicated platform on the temple grounds. This sacred outdoor space will provide a beautiful setting for havans, weddings, and other religious ceremonies, creating a special focal point for our rituals.
Estimated cost: $35,000
Creating a New, Larger Stage: The second project involves constructing a larger stage in our community center, featuring the historic 19th-century temple doors from South India that were gifted to us. This stage will include integrated lighting and soundproof flooring, enhancing our ability to host religious and cultural programs, as well as community events.
Estimated cost: $50,000
We are aiming to raise the necessary funds over the next 10-12 weeks, coinciding with the year-end giving season. Your contribution will help us create these sacred spaces, blending ancient traditions with the needs of today.
We’ve set up a targeted fundraising campaign on this website, making it easy for you to contribute and share the campaign with your friends and family. Soon, we will share photos of the antique doors and renderings of the new stage to inspire everyone to be part of this transformation.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference.
Share: Help us spread the word and invite others to support the cause.
Engage: Stay connected with us and follow the progress of these projects.
Together, we can ensure these projects are completed on time and that our temple remains a center of devotion, tradition, and community for generations to come.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
With Gratitude,
The Temple Sevaks
